INTRODUCTION

A year in review... keeping to tradition, this will be brief.  The most important event of the year was the move from MasterMason.info to MasonicWorld.com.  The second most important event was the inclusion of a search function in the Masonic Education section of the site.  With that said, we were able to include several dozen new files for your enjoyment and provided some great Masonic specials. (We are still giving away the gmail accounts, if you need one).

In 2005, we will include more files and news from around the world.  We did not change the site from MM.info to MasonicWorld without a clear plan in mind.  It may take us a while to implement the full plan, but we will be successful.

Since this will be my last correspondence for 2004, I wish you all a joyful Holiday season.

SPECIALS!

We were trying to move 300 board games in November in order to clear a storage facility.  Since we will make that goal this week, we have decided to keep the special in place until Christmas.  We reduced the board game cost to $14.99 (43% saving from retail).  In addition, we have reduced shipping cost.  Order yours now!

MASONIC EDUCATION!

An Explanation of The Degrees

“The Degree of E.A. is emblematic of the period of childhood, when the mind is not yet formed by lessons of wisdom; when the darkness of ignorance is not yet expelled, and the full light of knowledge hath not beamed forth its rays of divine creation.

The F.C., emblematic of the state of manhood, is invested with knowledge; he feels that he is placed upon earth for something more than the gratification of mere sensual appetites; he glories in the high destiny that awaits him, and perceives that wisdom and virtue are the pillars of strength and establishment that guard the portal of his mind, that glorious and eternal temple whose architect is Jehovah, and whose material is an emanation from his divinity.

The Mason, thus taught to aspire to the possession of the noblest attributes of man, to seek the knowledge of that which is good, and to adorn his walk of life with the beauty of holiness, arrives at length at the Master’s Degree, which teaches him that lesson which morality most requires, and instructs him, by the solemn incidents it recites, how to die.”
Moore’s Magazine for January, 1845
