Since we worked on the new forum all month, the newsletter for April will not include Masonic education. In a way, we hope to further Masonic education by allowing members world-wide a location to speak on issues in relation to freemasonry. Some of the different Masonic forum sections include: Blue House / General Masonic Chat – We anticipate 80% of our chat time will be through this one forum. Instead of breaking down the forum into many rooms we decided to have one room for most of our Masonic chat. We may change this setup if the forum grows. Education – Of course we would have a separate place for Masonic education. This is the purpose of this site, MasterMason.info/4Masonry.com. Meetings, Events, etc. – This is a test in order to give all Masons a chance to tell about special events of all bodies of Freemasonry. Masonic Webmasters – Since we often receive questions in reference to webmasters, we decided to place this section. This may be the only section of this forum that the webmaster of MasterMason.info, MasterMason.biz, and others, visit on a near daily basis. While not an expert in the subject of HTML, normally people can be pointed in the right direction. We will specialize in helping members use FrontPage. This is also a section that webmasters can converse with other webmasters to find sites, information, etc. News, Information, and Product Releases – This section is to send out information about the forum and provide information about our Masonic product releases on our other sites. Other Masonic webmasters/developers/designers are also allowed to post in this section. Since we pay for our hosting through our other ventures it is fitting that we have a section for Masonic products. In order to post you must register first. Registration is really easy… click on registration, enter a username, password and e-mail address. The system will send a confirmation e-mail to your e-mail box in order to prove you are who you say you are and then you can start posting.
We look forward to having our community support the forum. Remember that this is an open forum, govern yourself accordingly.
